Xeuron Terms of Service
Effective: July 23, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Xeuron ("the Service," operated by Xeuron, a for-profit company, "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. You're responsible for your account credentials and everything that happens under your account. One account per person.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of everything you post — publications, comments, posts, workplace notes. By posting content, you grant Xeuron a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and reproduce it as necessary to operate and promote the Service. This license ends when you delete the content, except where it's been shared by other users or is retained as required by law.
You're solely responsible for content you submit. Submitting a publication or source you don't have the right to share, or that infringes someone else's copyright, is a violation of these Terms — see Section 5.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Post spam, malware, or content unrelated to academic/research discussion
- Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or affiliation
- Submit plagiarized work or misattribute authorship
- Attempt to access another user's account or scrape the Service beyond normal use
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law

5. Publications & Third-Party Content
Publications submitted to Xeuron must come from sources you have the right to share (your own work, or content from an open-access/permitted source). Xeuron validates publication source URLs against an allowlist of recognized academic domains as a technical safeguard, but this does not substitute for your obligation to only submit content you're authorized to share.
Copyright complaints: if you believe content on Xeuron infringes your copyright, contact support@xeuron.com with the material's location and your ownership claim. We will investigate and remove infringing content where warranted.
6. Moderation & Enforcement
We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Code of Conduct, at our discretion, with or without notice. Removed content is retained internally per our data-retention practices even when no longer publicly visible (see Privacy Policy).
7. Intellectual Property
Xeuron's name, logo, and platform design are our property. Nothing in these Terms transfers our intellectual property to you beyond the limited right to use the Service as intended.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms. Sections 3 (content license), 9 (disclaimers), and 11 (governing law) survive termination.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, the accuracy of user-submitted content, or the results of AI-generated publication summaries (which are informational aids, not a substitute for reading the source material). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xeuron is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to These Terms
We'll post updates here with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated to active users. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
