Xeuron Code of Conduct

Effective: July 23, 2026 Modeled on academic community standards, including arXiv's Code of Conduct.

Xeuron exists to help researchers share and discuss work. That only works if the community stays trustworthy and respectful.

Expected Behavior

• Academic integrity: attribute ideas and work correctly; don't plagiarize or misrepresent authorship
• Respectful discourse: critique ideas, not people. Disagreement is welcome; personal attacks are not
• Honesty about credentials: don't misrepresent your affiliation, expertise, or authorship of submitted work
• Constructive moderation participation: if you moderate a SubXeuron, apply rules consistently and transparently

Unacceptable Behavior

• Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse of any user
• Discriminatory language or conduct based on race, gender, nationality, religion, disability, or any protected characteristic
• Plagiarism or knowingly submitting fraudulent/fabricated research
• Spam, off-topic promotional content, or coordinated inauthentic activity
• Doxxing or sharing another user's private information without consent

Enforcement

Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination, at Xeuron's discretion. Use the report button on any post, comment, or publication to flag a violation — reports go to our moderation queue. Repeated or severe violations are escalated to platform administrators.

To report a Code of Conduct violation: use the in-app report button, or contact support@xeuron.com directly for sensitive matters.

This Code of Conduct works alongside our Terms of Service and applies to all posts, comments, publication submissions, and event participation on Xeuron.
